Welcome to Jim Cohen Metals.

My journey to this point has been long with both travail and great riches,  As with most artists the journey is as important, if not more so, than the destination.  That said, I’ve enjoyed this journey like no other.

For me the journey started a little over ten years ago when I resigned my position as an attorney in Washington, D.C. to pursue a Master of Fine Art degree.  The pieces shown here represent where the journey is today.

I hope you enjoy these pieces.  If you are interested in these pieces or others, just want to discuss art, particularly metalwork, or process, just drop me a line.logo: American Guild of Judaic Art

Most of my work is one of a kind.  Small pieces of judaica are available at the Judaica Store on this website. All of my judaica is available through my judaica web site, jimcohenjudaica.com.

I’ve begun to produce a blog on contemporary judaic metalsmithing.  You can find the blog at jimcohenjudaicmetalsmith.blogspot.com.  I invite you to read, comment and share its contents.
